QUANTUM CRAFTERS LLC (“we”, “us”, “our”) publishes the Quantum Coin Wallet Android application (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App handles, what we collect, and what we share.

Summary: We do not collect, store, sell, rent, trade, or share any personal data. The App has no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no user accounts. Everything the App needs to operate runs on your device.

1. Information we collect

We collect nothing.

QUANTUM CRAFTERS LLC does not operate any backend service for the App. QUANTUM CRAFTERS LLC does not receive, log, store, or process any data from your device. We have no servers that hold your information, because we never send anything to ourselves.

In particular, we do not collect:

The App does not include any third-party analytics SDK, advertising SDK, attribution SDK, crash-reporting SDK, or tracking SDK.

2. Information that stays on your device

The App is a self-custodial cryptocurrency wallet, so it generates and stores cryptographic material that only ever exists locally on your device:

3. Network connections the App makes

The App must connect to a blockchain RPC endpoint to read public on-chain data (balances, transaction history, gas/fee parameters) and to broadcast transactions you have signed locally on your device. This is inherent to how any blockchain wallet works.

The operator of whichever RPC endpoint your App is configured to use will, like any internet service, see the network requests your device sends to it (which by their nature include the public wallet address you are querying and your device’s network-level IP address). That operator’s data-handling practices are governed by that operator’s own policies, not by this Privacy Policy. Consult the policy of the RPC operator you choose if this is a concern.

4. Android system backup

If you have Android system backup enabled in your device’s settings, Android may copy the App’s encrypted wallet container to your own Google account’s backup storage so the wallet can be restored on a new device. This backup:

You can disable Android system backup in your device’s system settings at any time.

5. Permissions the App requests

PermissionWhy
INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE, ACCESS_WIFI_STATE Connect to the configured blockchain RPC endpoint and detect connectivity changes.
CAMERA Scan QR codes (e.g. recipient addresses) on-device. Camera frames are not stored or transmitted.
USE_BIOMETRIC Allow the Android OS to unlock the local wallet via fingerprint or face. The App never sees biometric data.
POST_NOTIFICATIONS Show local, on-device status notifications. No remote push messaging.
VIBRATE Provide local haptic feedback.

The App does not request location, contacts, microphone, SMS, storage scanning, or any other sensitive permission.

6. Data sharing

We do not share any data with any third party because we do not collect any data in the first place. We do not sell or rent user data. We do not allow any third-party tracker, advertiser, analytics provider, or data broker inside the App.

7. Children

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. Because the App collects no personal information at all, no special procedures are required to handle children’s data.

8. Security

Wallet keys are generated on-device, encrypted using authenticated encryption with a key derived from your password (PBKDF2), and stored in app-private storage. On devices that support it, the Android StrongBox secure element is used to harden key derivation against extraction. The App enforces HTTPS with certificate pinning for outbound network calls. Even so, no system is perfectly secure: keep your device’s operating system up to date, protect your device with a secure lock screen, never share your seed phrase or wallet password with anyone, and back up your seed phrase offline.

9. International users

Because the App does not transmit any personal data to QUANTUM CRAFTERS LLC, there is no cross-border transfer of personal data by us. This Privacy Policy applies worldwide.

10. Your rights (GDPR, CCPA, and similar laws)

Under laws such as the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK GDPR, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and similar regimes, you have rights to access, correct, delete, and port personal data held about you, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal data. QUANTUM CRAFTERS LLC holds no personal data about App users and engages in no sale or sharing of personal data, so there is nothing for us to retrieve, correct, delete, port, or withhold from sale. To remove all locally stored wallet data, use your device’s standard “Clear data” or “Uninstall” action on the App. Uninstalling the App permanently destroys the local encrypted wallet container; you cannot recover funds without your seed phrase.

11. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above and published at the same URL where you found this policy. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
